Recognized by Akron School Board

Scholar athletes from winter sports in Akron Public Schools ​are designated when they achieve a grade point average of 3.4 and above.  In all, APS Athletic Director Joe Vassalotti says there are 116 scholar athletes from the array of winter sports played in high school.

At last night's board meeting (March 12), 15 squeezed into the board room to be recognized in person.  Including Orangeman,
