Ellet High School juniors attended Finance Day at the University of Akron. The event was sponsored by Westfield Bank and The University of Akron (program attached).
Dr. Barry Mulholland, CFP® –director, Financial Planning Program at the UA College of Business Administration. lead a team of business and financial leaders to support student learning in the topics of budgeting, investing and making good financial decisions. The students were engaged, asked great questions and even got to meet Zippy!
During the student lunch provided by UA, a concurrent session took place for students on the subject of being college and career ready. Students explored the strategies and timelines for juniors wishing to apply to UA.
