Taking care of a pet can be a process in itself. Ellet Animal Studies students are getting the opportunity to take care of some unusual pets during Ohio's stay at home order.
Once school was officially called off, teacher Ann Rose instructed students to sign out one of the many animals that call Ellet their permanent home. The students have been caring for the animals at home for three weeks now.
Mrs. Rose stays in contact with the students during their Google Hangouts and Veterinary Science Google classrooms advising them on how to care for pets such as snakes, birds, mice, and rats.
Now that the stay at home order has been extended until May, Mrs. Rose has been making arrangements to provide the students with supplies to care for the creatures.
