APS has Part-Time Medical Positions

Akron Public Schools is in need of part-time medical assistants, EMTs or paramedics for its school health clinics. The pay rate is $15/hour. The elementary school hours are 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and the secondary hours (middle and high school) are 8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance; PTO; tuition reimbursement; and SERS retirement. Applicants must have completed formal schooling or training as a Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedic; must be certified in BLS, specifically AHA Healthcare Provider Training; and must pass a criminal background check, reference check, BCI fingerprint check, education and license/certification verification, and urine screen for drugs and nicotine.
