No School ~ March 3rd 

Yondr Cell Phone Bags 

• The Akron Board of Education has approved the use of Yondr cell phone bags within APS and will be piloted at Ellet CLC.   The implementation of the Yondr cell phone pouches will make our school a phone-free space to improve teaching and learning at Ellet. 

• Yondr employs a simple, lockable pouch that stores the cell phone throughout the school day.   Every student will secure their phone in their assigned Yondr pouch when arriving at school each morning.  Students will maintain possessions of their phone, and will not use them until they are unlocked at the end of the school day.   All other wearable tech should be stored in the student's backpack. 

• Students will need to bring their Yondr pouch to and from school each day and are responsible for them at all times. 

• Yondr cell phone pouches will be discussed with students during the school day on 2/28/23 and distributed to students on 3/1/23 during 1st block with full implementation on 3/2/23.
