Updates: 

France and Spain Flyer

• Mr. Massarey is planning a trip to France & Spain in the Summer of 2024.   

• Introductory meeting is March 30th at 6:00 PM in the auditorium for any interested families

Grading period 3 

• Report cards have been processed and can be viewed in home access 

• They will also get mailed home 

Senior Scoops 

OST    

• State testing will begin next week.   Please take a moment to review the dates for each test.  We encourage students to utilize the OST Practice Site.   Students need to make sure they report to school on time with a charged chromebook. 

• March 28-March 31st  - 10th grade students in ELA class 

• April 4th and 5th  11th grade students who need to retake ELA 

• April 19th & 20th  biology and geometry 

• April 26th & 27th  algebra, gov’t, and US history

Exam Exemption

• The district is allowing students to have a final exam exemption if they meet the following criteria: 

  • Earn a 700  or better on the state exam ( Algebra 1,  geometry, ELA  10, biology, US history, and american gov’t) 

            OR 

• Earn a college readiness score on the ACT from Feb. 2023 

  • English: 18 (or higher)- *** must also meet the Reading score

  • Reading: 22 (or higher)- ***must also meet the English score

  • Math: 22 (or higher)

  • Science: 23 (or higher)

  • To be exempt from the semester 2 ELA 11 final exam, a junior must meet both the reading and English benchmark score.

             AND 

• Earn at least a C or higher for the fourth marking period.   (Grades to calculate eligibility will by on May 22nd)

            AND

• Maintain a 90 percent or higher attendance rating for the fourth marking period.

April 10-14, 2023 (Spring Break; no school for students)

May 26, 2023 (Last Day for Students in Grade 12)

May 29, 2023 (Memorial Day; schools and offices closed)

June 1, 2023 (Last Day for Students)
